Nora said in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha that it has been challenging to persuade filmmakers—not because she is a dancer, but rather because there aren’t many producers willing to take a bet on her. “I don’t believe they want to cast me because I dance. Beautifully performing dancers have been our mainstays and legendary heroes in Bollywood. And they’re good at dancing routines, aren’t they? That was simply a portion of what it meant to be a legendary heroine. It wasn’t because of that, in my opinion. I suppose it was always—well, I’m not sure. We’ll all seize the chance if she excels in every area—that is, in acting, presence, aura, and language ability—and we almost feel as if we’re just waiting to see who will take a risk on her [on me]. Therefore, I believe it was who would have persuaded the b*tches to take a risk on me initially. She said to us, “I believe that was what everyone was waiting for.”
