Biden’s sarcastic jab at Trump, “It All Went To His Hair”

On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden made a playful jab at US President Donald Trump by saying that when his opponent made a famous comment about using bleach to combat COVID-19, it ended up in his much-discussed hair.

At a Washington gathering for construction workers, Biden said, “Remember when he was trying to deal with COVID… He suggested just injecting a little bleach into your veins.”

“He missed; it all went to his hair!” the Democrat said, causing the crowd at the Building Trade Union of North America, which has sponsored the 81-year-old in this year’s race, to erupt in laughter.

This week, Biden pulled a similar joke on social media by posting a video of Trump’s now-famous statement from a White House news conference on April 23, four years ago, when he was president.

“Avoid injecting bleach.” And don’t support the candidate who advised you to inject bleach,” Biden publicly tweeted on X.

As election campaigning intensifies, Biden and Trump’s political competition has become personal.

Trump, 77, often makes fun of his rival’s enduring stammer and refers to him as “sleepy Joe.”

In the meantime, Biden has attacked Trump’s financial difficulties, calling him “broke Don” in reference to his legal disputes, which include the claim that he fabricated financial documents in order to give porn actress Stormy Daniels hush money.
