In an Arizona vehicle tragedy, two Indian students perish

HYDERABAD: On Sunday afternoon (IST), a head-on collision between Goutham Kumar Parsi (19) and Mukka Nivesh (20) in Arizona, US, claimed the lives of the two Telangana students.

The driver of the second car, a Ford F150 with only one passenger, and the person operating the Kia Forte both survived the collision in Peoria, but the two men perished there.

The two drivers, who were released from the hospital, have not been identified by the police.

At Arizona State University, Goutham and Nivesh were pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computers. Nivesh was admitted to the university last year, while Goutham enrolled in 2022. According to rumors, Goutham had purchased tickets for his planned trip to India for next month. His father, P Kamal Kumar Gupta, is involved in the gold trade, and his family comes from the Jangaon area.
Nivesh was born in Huzurabad, Karimnagar, and his mother Swathi is a doctor, and his father Naveen is a doctor as well.
