Russian Influencer Who Starved Baby to Death by Exposing Him To “Only Sunlight” Was Imprisoned After

In a startling event from Sochi, Russia, an influencer starved his one-month-old son to death because he thought the kid would develop superhuman skills if exposed to sunlight. As a result, the influencer was sentenced to eight years in jail.

According to reports, the infant, Kosmos, passed away from pneumonia and starvation while being taken to the hospital.

Kosmos was born at home, allegedly due to Maxim Lyutyi, the alleged influencer, forbidding the boy’s mother, Oksana Mironova from visiting a maternity hospital, according to a Metro story.

Following that, he also forced the child to follow a rigorous vegan “prana” diet, emphasizing foods like berries that are said to strengthen the body’s spiritual vitality.

Kosmos was so starved that he had passed away by the time Lyutyi brought his infant child to the hospital on March 8 of last year.

The 3.5-pound infant was pronounced dead by doctors, and both parents were then taken into custody.

According to a January social media post, Lyutyi had anticipated being released from jail early. However, he is now facing more than eight years in a high-security prison for the crime of “intentional infliction of serious bodily harm.” This follows his last-minute guilty plea switch last week.

Olesya Nikolayeva, his wife’s cousin, also voiced her disgust, claiming that the guy made her refuse to feed the child because he thought the sun was providing nutrition for it.

“Oksana was secretly trying to breastfeed the baby, but she was very afraid of Maxim,” Nikolayeva said.

“How can the infant be fed in the presence of sunlight? She said, “A baby needs his mother’s milk.”

According to the Metro article, the influencer also intended to test feeding the youngster just sunlight and then promote this method of eating to other people.

Additionally, some state that Lyutyi forced Kosmos to take cold showers because he thought the treatment would fortify the infant, rejecting conventional medical advice.

The influencer totally gave up all of his prior convictions while he was incarcerated, including his views on eating meat.

The mother of Mironova also said that she disapproved of her daughter joining this organization.

I told her that Maxim was insane and that I felt everything, but she ignored me. Like a guinea pig, Oksana dwelt there. She became icier toward me every time. The mother of the lady claimed, “She was his slave.”

Furthermore, according to one of their relatives, Lyutyi wanted to grow his kid to be a guy who solely consumes sunlight.
