Taliban educates Pakistan on claims that it is a “Safe Haven for Terror” with “Look Inside for Answers”

When Pakistan claimed that terrorist attacks on Pakistan were being carried out on Afghan territory, the Taliban in Afghanistan retaliated harshly. The Taliban government’s spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, criticized the Pakistani government for its following remark that Taliban-run Afghanistan was a major contributor to regional terrorism.

“We have always insisted that Pakistani territory would not be attacked from Afghanistan. Why has terrorism in Pakistan just grown? Mujahid advised the nation to seek inside its own boundaries for solutions.

A significant portion of Pakistan’s budget, according to Mujahid, is spent on security forces and intelligence activities, raising the issue of why the country is unable to curb terrorism.

According to a statement acquired by CNN-News18, Mujahid remarked, “They should not blame Afghanistan for their shortcomings.”

The 18 terrorists with ties to the Islamic State who were slain in an operation, Mujahid continued, were Pakistani. He said that it was determined that they were from Pakistan following an investigation into their identities.

“We refrained from blaming anybody and kept working to protect our own nation. Not permitting our country’s land to be used against it does not make us accountable for what takes on in other nations, according to Mujahid.

He also urged cooperation in the fight against regional extremist groups like the Islamic State. The Khorasan branch of the Islamic State is most active in portions of western and northwestern Pakistan, western and northwestern Afghanistan, and has targeted Pakistani military and civilian targets as well as Taliban and Afghan civilian targets.

This is the Taliban-led government of Afghanistan’s strongest declaration, according to those acquainted with the situation. The Kandhari side, commanded by Mullah Mohammad Omar, likewise makes the claim.

The declaration by Pakistan that it is prepared to launch surgical strikes inside Afghanistan infuriated Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob, the acting defense minister. People within the Taliban who are aware of the events told CNN-News18 that such remarks won’t improve relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Pakistan is now dealing with a surge of terrorism that has claimed hundreds of civilian and military lives. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistan Taliban, is in charge of the assaults. Pakistan claims that it is possible to manage the organization if the Afghan Taliban so chooses, but the Taliban government in Kabul is doing nothing to put an end to the anarchy.
