The greatest association event in Garden City since the epidemic, Rotary’s worldwide convention, is expected to draw thousands of people to Singapore

May 9, Singapore: For the annual meeting of the membership service organization, more than 13,000 Rotarians and participants from more than 120 countries will come together in Singapore from May 25 to 29, 2024.

It is anticipated that the conference would generate over 20,000 hotel room nights and will be advantageous to eateries, shops, and tourist destinations.

Rotarians meet and learn from a variety of professionals and other members about how to take action to solve challenges in their communities during their annual conventions, which take place in a new location every year.

Frequently referred to as a “mini-United Nations” by participants, the convention will convert the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands into a vibrant hub and cultural mosaic. The global volunteer network will find inspiration from over 100 humanitarian projects exhibited as well as international speakers.

Singaporeans may buy a one-day admission to Rotary’s House of Friendship project display at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre if they’re interested in learning more about the good work Rotary does in communities across the globe. Convention.rotary.org is the registration website.

With the help of local Rotary members and organized by Rotary International, the event offers a chance to highlight Singapore’s tourism attractions and gives attendees a taste of the country’s cuisine, wine, and culture. One such carefully chosen opportunity is Singapore’s GastroBeats event, which honors food, music, and community. It opens to Rotary members and participants only on Saturday, May 25.

The Singapore Tourism Board is supporting the Rotary International Convention, which will take place in Singapore for the second time since 1999.
