Two Indian students lost their lives in an automobile accident in Arizona, USA

Police in Arizona said that two Indian students were instantly murdered in a head-on car crash close to Lake Pleasant.

Nivesh Mukka, 19, and Goutham Parsi, 19, have been named as the victims. They are both allegedly from Telangana.

They were enrolled at Arizona State University as foreign students.

The Peoria Police indicate that the deadly traffic incident happened on April 20, at around 6:18 p.m., when they were called to a collision on Castle Hot Springs Road, which is located just north of State Route 74.

Two cars were involved in the multiple-vehicle collision: a red 2022 Ford F150 and a white 2024 Kia Forte that had crashed head-on.

According to an initial inquiry, the white Kia Forte was traveling north on Castle Hot Springs Road, while the driver of the red F150 was traveling south.

While the driver of the vehicle they were riding in was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries and has since been discharged, Mukka and Parsi “died from their injuries on scene.”

According to the statement, the driver of the second car—the only occupant—was also seriously injured and brought to a nearby hospital before being discharged.

During the inquiry, the area was restricted for a few hours; however, on Sunday morning, regular traffic was once again permitted.

The police said, “We’re still looking into what caused this collision.”

The Peoria Police Department released a statement saying, “Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everybody who rendered aid during this tragic incident.”

In order to provide any necessary assistance, the International Students and Scholars Center at Arizona State University is collaborating with the dean of students, counseling services, and housing staff to identify the student organizations, friends, and roommates of the victims.
