Covid cases are now down to 1,539

According to statistics published on Tuesday by the Union Health Ministry, 53 new coronavirus infections have been reported in India, while the number of active cases has decreased to 1,539.

The figures updated at 8 am showed that 5,31,918 people had died. The total for the Covid case was 4.49 crore (4.49,96,112).

According to the website of the health ministry, there are already 4,44,62,655 persons who have recovered from the illness, with a 98.81 percent national recovery rate.

The percentage of case fatalities is 1.18 percent. The Covid vaccination has now been given across the nation 220.67 crore times, according to the ministry’s website.
