Mumbai Records Six New Covid-19 Cases, Bringing the Total to 34
Tuesday saw the addition of six new coronavirus cases in Mumbai, bringing the total number of illnesses to 11,63,919, according to a representative of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
According to the municipal body’s health bulletin, eight patients made recoveries throughout the day, bringing the total number of recoveries up to 11,44,112, while the death toll remained at 19,773.
For the first time since February, there were no new cases reported in the city on Monday.
The message noted that at least 905 swab samples were tested during the day, bringing the total number of tests completed in the city to 1,88,91,326.
With this, there are already 34 active cases in the city, it stated.
The message said that the city’s recovery rate is 98.3% and that the total growth rate from June 13 to June 19 was 0.0005%.
