Applications for Science and Engineering Internships Are Now Open at IISc Bangalore; View Details

The Q-Daksha Student Internship Program 2024 online application procedure was launched by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Aspiring students have a fantastic chance to see and engage in quantum technology research at IISc via this internship. On February 28, 2024, National Science Day, the enrollment procedure opened.

The timetable states that March 21 is the deadline for submitting application materials for the Q-Daksha Student Internship Program 2024. Students pursuing scientific and engineering programs may apply by scanning an institute-provided QR code. Only interested Karnataka students may apply for the program, which will last between four and eight weeks and grant participants a suitable stipend.

“We encourage students from science and engineering disciplines (examples of disciplines, but not limited to Physics, Chemistry, mathematics, computer science, electrical and electronics, nanotechnology, etc.) to apply as quantum technology is highly interdisciplinary in nature,” stated an official notice.

The IISc Bangalore announced on X (formerly Twitter) that registrations for Q-Daksha 2024 are now open. On this National Science Day, we are pleased to announce that the Q-Daksha Student Internship Program 2024 is returning! Registration for Q-Daksha 2024 is now open! Applications for the internship program are open to students who are in their first or second year of a Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Technology (MTech), as well as their third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech).

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) plans to create a framework for encouraging cooperation among physicists, material scientists, computer scientists, and engineers in order to initiate a concentrated effort to solve important quantum technology concerns.

The Indian Institute of physics and Technology (IISc) is an important organization that has helped India with past critical tasks. Its diverse research staff is interested in quantum physics and technologies, and it designed and supported India’s nuclear and space technology programs.

Long before there was a current interest in quantum technologies, IISc pioneered the country’s attempts to become self-reliant in the domains of condensed matter physics, nanoelectronics, and nanoscience.
