In the “Top 50 Lamb Dishes In The World,” two Indian recipes rank well

Indian food has been receiving international recognition for a long time. This is especially the case with Taste Atlas rankings, a food and travel reference that is well-known for highlighting the best dishes in the globe. Their social media went crazy recently when the ’50 Best Lamb Dishes In The World’ were revealed, and two delicious Indian dishes made it into the top 30. Galouti Kebab and Rogan Josh were the most popular lamb dishes in the world, proving to be among the best in the world.

Rogan Josh: The aromatic Rogan Josh, a lamb dish from the scenic Kashmir area, comes in at number 26. Rogan Josh, according to the guide’s website, has “tender meat and a rich, vibrant red sauce derived from deseeded Kashmiri chillies” and is a delicious explosion of taste. It is often served with fluffy basmati rice or savory Indian flatbreads like naan. This dish is a staple of Kashmiri cuisine and has gained popularity all over the world.

Galouti Kebab: The melt-in-your-mouth Galouti Kebab comes in just below Rogan Josh at position 27. This delicious meal is a showcase for creative cooking and comes from Lucknow. Galouti Kebabs, which are made with slow-cooked minced lamb flavored with a symphony of spices, are renowned for their succulent texture. A notion about its origins has been offered by Taste Atlas. “The name galouti means soft, referring to a belief that Haji Mohammad Fakr-e-Alam Saheb, who first made the dish, gave it to Nawab Asad-ud-Daula, who was toothless and needed a kebab variety which required no chewing.”

Other items on the list: Greece’s Païdakia, which has tender lamb chops marinated in lemon juice, olive oil, and fresh herbs and then perfectly grilled, comes in first place. Turkey had a great showing, coming in second and third place, respectively, with Döner Kebab (shredded grilled lamb) and Cağ Kebab (marinated lamb on a horizontal skewer).
