On Vagator beach in north Goa, a new bar and pizza joint called Como Agua opens
The bar-pizzeria Como Agua has opened in north Goa on Vagator Beach, adding to the already diverse gastronomic scene in the sunny state of India. With its carefully chosen artisan drinks, Negroni bar, and Napoletana pizzas, the new pizzeria offers a wonderful experience. With a goal of becoming a private haven for special occasions and captivating sunsets, the restaurant offers mouthwatering cuisine to patrons who eat on the well-known beach.
In addition to being devoted and motivated by the co-founders’ individual travel experiences, Saniya Puniani and Arjun Jaiswal’s restaurant has a cuisine designed to satisfy a wide range of palates, a sustainable architectural style, and a peaceful view of the sea.
With great care and attention to detail, the restaurant has been designed, using the Lantana plant native to northeast India. It has been painstakingly created by hand over the last ninety-five days. The focal point of the building are the first-floor nests, which draw inspiration from sparrow’s nests. Amit Kumar, the executive chef, leads a team of culinary maestros who have painstakingly assembled a menu that includes delectable desserts, exquisite Napoletana pizzas, and modern comfort foods.
The result is a gourmet utopia for customers. The chef’s selections, such as the Classic Lobster Roll, Lobster Malai Tikka with Truffle, and Crab Omelette with Indonesian Chilli Sambal, tempt the taste buds. A tribute to unusual dining experiences, their pizza menu offers mouthwatering choices including Hot Honey & Double Pepperoni, the classic Margherita, and the decadent Burrata Margherita.
With trademark drinks like “Shlawn Che,” a nod to revitalizing waters, and tastefully garnished with vetiver twigs evoking the verdant environs of Como, their cocktail menu captures the timeless spirit of Goa. The pizza has many Instagram-worthy locations in addition to hosting live performances on the weekends. A two-person supper without alcohol typically costs about Rs 1,500, but it may cost up to Rs 2,500 with alcohol.
