Yes, you read that right, the first solar eclipse of 2021 is marking the annular solar eclipse 2021 i.e. Ring of Fire. One should take bath before and after solar eclipse.
Make sure to cover the windows with thick curtains to avoid the rays from inside the house.

Food, cooking etc. should not be consumed during solar eclipse.
Sharp things should not be used as it can cause birth defects.
Avoid looking towards the sun.
Consumption of water is also prohibited, although it may not be healthy for the baby. Therefore, pregnant women are asked to consult a doctor before taking such steps.
