16 people hurt in an accident
The Tempo they were traveling in crashed on the Una-Hamirpur route today in Samoor Kalan village of Una district, injuring sixteen people, including a toddler.
The automobile was transporting worshippers who were going back to their Amritsar homes after paying their last respects at the Baba Balak Nath temple in the Hamirpur area, according to a report from the area Emergency Operation Centre.
The investigation also said that the accident happened because the driver was unable to navigate a bend on a hill.
The district hospital received the wounded patients. The infant suffered critical injuries, while fifteen other people only suffered minor injuries. The child’s medical expenses would be covered by Rs 5,000 from the district government, while the other wounded party would get Rs 2,000.
