Exclusive: Zakir Khan talks about his “fear of death” and jokes that the media won’t properly cover his passing
In addition to being a stand-up comedian, Zakir Khan is an inspiration to many. The actor has gained enormous popularity for his philosophical sayings in addition to making his followers laugh. With Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare Season 3, Zakir is returning to television after a run of overseas projects. The creators have tried their luck at making an impression on the public once again with a deft mix of comedy, political satire, and drama.
Zakir Khan has been quite busy lately promoting the third season of Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare. In the meanwhile, the comedian and actor had an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla where he opened up about his experiences in both life and work. He shared life lessons about being afraid of dying throughout the conversation, and he made a joke about how the media would portray his death.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Zakir Khan spoke up on a lot of different facets of life. Zakir Khan had an intriguing thing to say when asked about “80 ki umar mein maut ka khauf” (fear of dying at 80 years old). He replied, rather strongly, “80 mein kyun. “Why is it that at the age of 35, I am experiencing the feeling of 80?”
The stand-up comic said in a lighthearted tone that he has the same terror as before if his trip encounters any strange conditions. In a dulcet voice, Zakir said, “Mujhe toh apna news article chalta hua dikh jaata hai ki main news mein bhi cover nahi karenge, ticker chala denge ki comedian Zakir Khan plane crash mein maare gaye (I see news article circulating, and that it will not be covered even in the main news, the ticker will be running saying that comedian Zakir Khan died in a plane crash).”
Going one step further, one of today’s most popular stand-up comedians said that dread of dying endures constantly. Zakir made the following observation: “When is there no fear of death?)”
