22 papers were submitted for the Palnadu district’s 7 MLA and 1 MP seats

In the Palnadu district, 22 nominations were submitted on Thursday for one Lok Sabha seat and seven Assembly seats.

Up to 12 candidates submitted 22 nominations on the first day of the Palnadu district nomination process, which got underway on Thursday for the AP election.

At the collectorate in Narasaraopet, TDP MP candidate Lavu Srikrishna Devarayulu presented his nomination to Palnadu district Collector Sivashankar Lotheti and the LS constituency reporting officer. In addition, Dr. Chadalavada Arvinda Babu, the TDP candidate for MLA in Narasaraopet, and Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy, the TDP candidate for Macherla, are among the others who submitted nominations.

The Collector said that the Palnadu district government is making every effort to implement MCC throughout the area. Speaking at a news conference on Thursday at the Palnadu Collectorate in Narasaraopet, he said that since the nomination schedule began on April 18, the appropriate steps have been made to tighten vehicle checks and boost checkpost vigilance. Additionally, he said that freebies and unaccounted cash totaling ~1.7 crore had been confiscated up to this point.
