A bus in Dwarka runs over two men’s bikes, killing them

New Delhi: According to police, two young men were killed after their motorbike collided with a DTC bus traveling in the other direction in Dwarka’s Jaffarpur Kalan. There is a booking for the bus driver.

On Monday, one of them passed away instantly on Rawta-Jafarpur Road, while the other subsequently passed away from his wounds. The green bus was traveling on a single-lane road when the accident occurred, and the bike was approaching from the other direction, according to CCTV video of the event that was released on Wednesday.

The helmets were hurled off their heads as well by the force of the collision.

A senior police officer said that they were notified of the collision at around 3:40 p.m. “The caller said that two males had suffered serious injuries. A squad was sent to the bloody scene where the males were discovered. The officer said, “One of them had passed away instantly, and the other young person had been taken to the hospital but had died from his wounds.

He said that Yogesh, 25, and Goldi, 26, were the names of the dead. Rajender Sharma was the driver’s name.

The bus was traveling from Ujwa to Rawta village, according to police. Additionally, technical monitoring revealed that the driver was riding too close to the bus at the time of the collision. Based on the first observations, it seems that the motorcyclists were trying to make an abrupt turn, which is what caused the crash, according to the police.

A complaint has been filed under the applicable provisions for reckless driving and death as a result of carelessness after a crime occurred and forensic team was sent to the scene for an examination. The police are attempting to determine the order of events.
