AAP officials discuss their ideas for the East Delhi region with RWA members

Members of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) met on Thursday in IP Extension, East Delhi, at the invitation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Members of the RWA were seen by Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Shelly Oberoi, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, and East Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Kuldeep Kumar, since the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi are quickly approaching.

The presentation of Arvind Kejriwal’s governance model’s nine-year progress report was the main item on the AAP leaders’ agenda. The politicians presented their plans for the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency’s administration during the next five years.

Candidate for the India bloc Kumar gave the RWAs assurances about the AAP’s steadfast dedication to the development of Jamuna paar (the trans-Yamuna region), vowing to drive out the BJP’s indifference and steer the Lok Sabha seat in the direction of improvement. Kumar emphasized that within the next five years, he wants to make East Delhi an example of cleanliness and sanitation. To do this, he wants to improve peace and order, provide high-quality public infrastructure, and coordinate all governing authorities.

He listed projects that will remain at the top of the AAP’s agenda for the Lok Sabha elections, including securing DDA land for a new educational campus in East Delhi, developing the metro ecosystem and public transportation, addressing law and order issues like the growing drug menace, guaranteeing public safety and sanitation, addressing the issue of stray animals through shelter homes, and resolving other civic issues in the constituency.

“Kejriwal’s dedication towards public welfare is evident in the Delhi government’s world-class schools, free and continuous electricity supply, high-quality health facilities via mohalla clinics, CCTV camera and streetlight installations, and the development of roads and streets in colonies,” Oberoi stated, presenting the AAP government’s report card.

But all the BJP has accomplished is hinder the AAP’s efforts and maintain the neglect of RWAs in East Delhi. Under Kejriwal’s vision, this election offers the opportunity to put the voters on a shared road of growth at all governmental levels, she said.

“We’ve stayed committed to enhancing Delhi’s RWAs and supporting the city’s ecosystem,” the speaker said. In addition to intensifying attempts to remove the Ghazipur dump, the AAP administration has stepped up efforts to enhance the curriculum in MCD schools. The government has committed to providing the city’s children the best education possible by allocating the greatest grant ever in 2024 for this reason.

Goel said, “The BJP and its leaders have made false promises only to vanish from the constituency once elected. This has happened election after election.” Every time they have to switch candidates, it is evident that they are unable to improve the lot of the East Delhi constituency.

The AAP, on the other hand, has always placed the welfare of its constituents first. For this reason, we have selected Kuldeep Kumar as our candidate. He is not only an East Delhi native, but he has also served the Aam Aadmi community for many years as an MLA and councillor. In the Lok Sabha elections, East Delhi will defeat the BJP’s tyranny, and he is a ray of hope for their well-being,” he said.
