All MCD Temporary Employees Will Become Regular Employees: CM Kejriwal

All temporary staff of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) would be regularized, according to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s announcement on Monday.

He was speaking at a ceremony to thank the MCD for paying its workers’ paychecks on schedule.

According to Kejriwal, the MCD workers have been receiving their wages on time for the last two months, and the local body’s tax collection has grown because “it is being ruled by an honest dispensation.”

317 newly regularized workers received appointment letters from the chief minister during the event.

In the next two to three years, according to Kejriwal, MCD officials and personnel will make Delhi the “cleanest city” in the nation.

In the next months, the Delhi residents will participate in the city’s ongoing cleaning campaign and keep it tidy and clean.

The ceremony was held in Thyagraj stadium, and Shelly Oberoi, the mayor of the AAP-ruled MCD, and Saurabh Bhardwaj, the minister of urban development, both attended.
