Amrit wins the state JEE Main

With a 99.86 %, Amrit Kaushal has emerged victorious in the state’s JEE (Main) 2024 session two. It was announced on April 24.

In the first JEE (Main) session, Kaushal also placed first in the state with a 99.74 percentile score; the results were released in February.

Kaushal completed his Class X education at St. Edwards School in Shimla before enrolling at JCB Public Senior Secondary School in New Shimla. His career goal is to become a computer engineer. In Shimla, his parents, Drs. Ankur and Sonia Kaushal, operate a private clinic.

Kaushal said that he had chosen Aspire Academy as his tutoring provider and had been studying for the test for the last two years. “I used to edit everything that was taught in class,” he said.

Yamini Pal, the second-best scorer in the state, achieved a 99.61 percentile on the same test. Yamini’s mother, Sunita Devi, is a housewife, while her father, Khem Singh, is an accountant. Yamini wants to be a computer engineer.

After graduating from Auckland House School in Shimla, she made the decision to be ready for the JEE and selected Aspire Academy.

“It is best to avoid social media and use it sparingly because it acts as a distraction,” she said.

“I also want to express my gratitude to my instructors and parents for their support. I am able to reach such heights because of them,” she said.

According to Yogendra Kumar Meena, head of the institution, 67 pupils passed the test with scores higher than 90%.
