An exhibition of photography opens at Punjabi University

The Sobha Singh Fine Arts and Museum and Art Gallery organized the picture show, which was opened by Prof. Arvind, the vice-chancellor of the institution. Speaking to the assembly, he said, “Anyone with an interest can learn the art of photography in this day and age.” Technology’s ongoing advancements have also given the arts a lot of new opportunities.

Referring to the images from the show taken by Jaskaran Singh and Ranjodh Singh, Professor Arvind said that by seeing the work of accomplished students, these exhibits serve to both inspire and educate students about a variety of artistic mediums.

Dr. Kavita Singh, the department head, said that the show will run until April 30. She mentioned that Ranjodh Singh and Jaskaran Singh will talk about technical elements of photography in a different session.

Prof. Navjot Kaur, the registrar, commended the department on the exhibition’s preparations. The boundaries of intellectual relationships have evolved, she added, adding that appreciation for the arts and other pertinent disciplines has grown.
