Anni’s vegetable selling yard work is still unfinished

In Kiran Bazar, Anni, the construction of a vegetable marketing yard is progressing slowly. The building of the yard, which is being done at a cost of crores of rupees, has been going on for more than a year, but only a security wall has been erected so far, and even that is not finished—about 20 meters remain.

Because of this, during the previous monsoon’s floods, water invaded the region. As of right now, there is no sign of an auction site, stores, workplace, Kisan Bhawan, community center, or cafeteria. The work on the project should be expedited by the APMC Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti.

Shimla’s overcrowded buses annoy commuters.

One of the main issues in Shimla is the crowded private bus fleet. These buses’ conductors cram as many people into each vehicle as they can, which makes traveling quite uncomfortable for everyone, particularly standing passengers. The employees of the packed buses should face severe consequences from the relevant authorities.

After the rain, the school’s pathway was not entirely restored.

After being harmed by the natural catastrophe last year, a 500-meter section of the route leading to the Government High School in Banala has not yet been completely restored. Every day, some sixty kids from five nearby villages go via this section of the walkway on their way to school. This stretch is used by a large number of locals as well. Last year, landslides destroyed some of the route. While stone walls were built to replace the damaged sections, the 500-meter section remained unrepaired. This walkway has to be fixed as soon as possible by the panchayat and government.
