As the election draws closer, candidates in Tamil Nadu step up their campaigning

Dr. K Krishnasamy, the AIADMK’s candidate for Tenkasi, spoke with people and store owners on Tuesday while doing a campaign stop close to Courtallam Main Falls.

Speaking to the media, he said that if elected as an MP, he would take action to connect Courtallam’s several waterfalls so that water may flow down the main falls all year round.

“Courallam town will emerge as a result, and its residents will have a year-round source of income. I’ll work to put Courtallam on the map of world tourism,” he said.

In the meanwhile, B John Pandian, the BJP’s candidate for Tenkasi, conducted voter turnout in the Sankarankovil assembly segment’s Thalavaipuram, Atkondarkulam, Chenthatti, Veppankulam, Ramanthapuram, Kalappa Kulam, and Puliyampatti.

In the vicinity of Kallidaikurichi, BC Welfare Minister Raja Kannappan solicited votes for C Robert Bruce, the Tirunelveli Congress candidate. Bruce also campaigned at Ariyanayagipuram and the other villages with DMK Union Secretary Mari Vannamuthu.

Campaigning in the villages of Thamaraikulam, Pallamadai, Kanarpatti, Keezhapillaiyarkulam, and Kattarakulam was Nainar Nagendran, the BJP candidate for Tirunelveli.
