At the Singanallur bus station in Coimbatore, passengers are irate due to the lengthy bus delay

A sizable contingent of travelers congregated in front of the Singanallur bus stop in Coimbatore on Friday morning, expressing dissatisfaction with the insufficient bus services, particularly to the districts of Madurai and Theni. On election day, many passengers who had arrived at the Dharapuram bus terminal in Tiruppur also found that there were insufficient services to the southern areas.

Numerous people were waiting for buses to Tiruchi, Kumbakonam, and Thanjavur city at Kangeyam.

Police tackle a furious passenger

A customer who questioned the bus delay was allegedly subjected to physical abuse by a police officer.
