Bharat Electronics Ltd. and IIT-Mandi sign a semiconductor agreement
An Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for research and technological collaboration as well as product development for semiconductors, quantum technologies, and drones has been inked by Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi.
Utilizing the complementary skills and talents of the BEL and the IIT-Mandi is the goal of the MoU. In keeping with the Union Government’s “Make in India” program, it would facilitate the indigenization of goods and services that BEL provides to its clients, a BEL statement said.
Designing, developing, and producing professional-grade electronic systems, equipment, and modules in the fields of communications, electro-optics, electronic warfare, radars, satellite communications, telecommunications and networking, solar photovoltaic, and strategic electronic components is what the electronics company BEL is all about.
