Bhucho Mandi: Dispute over a truck union: firing in front of MLAs

In Bhucho Mandi today, someone opened fire in front of AAP MLA Jagseer Singh. The conflict between the two parties, who had come to resolve their differences via MLA’s mediation, resulted in the event.

As the situation worsened, one group opened fire on the other outside the Bhucho police station while the MLA was there.

According to DSP Harshpreet, several locals were at odds about who should oversee the truck union. The local MLA had gone there to mediate the dispute between the two sides. During the negotiations, there was a struggle in which the accused fired shots.

On the other hand, locals assert that discussions were taking place between the two sides while the MLA was there. Four people arrived in a vehicle at this time and made threats against the MLA. The aforementioned accused is believed to have attempted to drive the MLA and the others over with his automobile. After a while, he pulled out his handgun and shot.

After two people were detained and a formal complaint was filed, the police took action.

The homeowners claim that when the accused began making a disturbance, they entered the police post and narrowly avoided death. The accused reportedly started shooting in the meantime. His firearm dropped to the ground as he sought to flee after shooting. Two people were overwhelmed by the mob and turned over to the police in the meanwhile.
