BRS wants the ECI to approve the KCR “bus yatra.”

Leader of the BRS K Vasudeva Reddy met with State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj on Friday and brought a representation to request approval for the planned bus yatra of party president and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Rao has made the decision to go on a bus yatra from April 22 to May 10 as part of the party’s campaign for the Lok Sabha election. He is probably going to begin the yatra at the Jogulamba-Gadwal district’s Alampur.

Speaking to the media, Vasudeva Reddy said that the election authorities have been asked by the pink party to instruct the police force to ensure that the bus yatra has sufficient protection. He went on, “The ECI should, if possible, deploy Central security forces.”

“We are becoming concerned about attacks on our party’s activists and social media warriors. We asked for security precautions for that reason,” he stated.
