Why Should All The Fun Be Given To Humans? In this video, monkeys have a pool party

The intense heat and rising temperatures have made us all want a peaceful getaway to a hill station. An excellent idea to combat the heat has been devised by a troop of monkeys in Mumbai, while the rest of us are busy daydreaming about it. What’s that? A lively pool party. Two films showing monkeys “swimming” in a pool were released by the nonprofit Mumbai March on its official X (formerly Twitter page). A minimum of six monkeys can be seen having fun in the pool in the first video. The footage was shot inside a residential complex in Mumbai’s Borivali neighborhood.

The two pools are linked in the next video, enabling the monkeys to leap from one area to another. The statement, “Monkeys are back swimming at Raheja Borivali, enjoying the Mumbai heat,” was posted alongside the footage.

Many people acknowledged the recordings after seeing the monkeys lounging in the pool. Many people expressed their appreciation for the videos in the comments area. “Let them chill in this scorching heat,” someone said.

One more person said, “Excellent! The environment is everyone’s property.

“Wow, it looks like nice fun,” said one person.

Someone else commented, “That’s life.”

Some people said that it’s okay for the monkeys to swim in the pool as long as they don’t urinate there. As one commenter put it, “That’s only natural.” So long as they’re not faeces-picking, which they never do since they’re much more civilized than people of all ages.

Naturally, this isn’t the first time a video of primates cooling down in a swimming pool amid sweltering heat waves has gone viral. A user posted a video earlier on X, which was once Twitter, showing monkeys leaping from a balcony into a pool. The video opens with those young daredevils perched on a residential balcony with a view over a swimming pool. One of those rare monkeys quickly launches himself into the pool with a flawless cannonball splash and begins to swim. “Why should humans have all the fun? Animals can enjoy it too,” was written beside the video.
