Car strikes cyclist, then travels 18 miles with the victim’s corpse on the top of the car

After hitting a motorcyclist in Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, a car driver continued to drive for eighteen kilometers while the victim’s corpse was resting on the top of the car.

Although the motorist ran away from the scene and is still at large, a murder case has been filed, and attempts are being made to bring the driver to justice.

A motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Sunday night near Kothapalli in Atmakuru Mandal.

Erriswamy was injured in the incident that happened between a vehicle and a bike, which sent him flying and onto the automobile, where he died.

The car’s driver drove on for around eighteen kilometers without halting, until stopping at Hanimireddypalli, and then took off. The whole chain of events leading up to the catastrophe is still being pieced together by the authorities.

According to Sub-Inspector Atmakuru Muneer Ahmed, police officials swiftly arrived and launched an inquiry after learning of the collision involving an Innova car. Nevertheless, the dead biker’s corpse was not first found at the location.

The driver, whose name is now unknown, set off an alarm and then abandoned the car. However, the police have gotten hold of relevant information, such as the car’s registration number, and they’ve turned on the cell phone that was discovered inside the car in order to do more research.
