Chhattisgarh Ministers List 2023: The complete list of ministers of Vishnu Deo Sai’s government, along with their portfolios

Portfolios held by the Cabinet Ministers of Chhattisgarh: Vishnu Deo Sai, a four-time member of the Lok Sabha and a former union minister of steel, labor, and employment, was sworn in as the state’s chief minister with deputy chief ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma.

At 4 PM, in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several state chief ministers under BJP administration, Vishnu took the oath at Raipur’s Science Ground College. On Sunday, at the BJP parliamentary meeting in Raipur, his appointment was declared. The 54 newly elected MLAs in the state had a key meeting after which Sai formally announced her candidacy. After Ajit Jogi, Raman Singh, and Bhupesh Baghel, Vishnu became the fourth chief minister of state and the second BJP candidate for governor.

Arun Sao, who represents the Lormi assembly seat, and Vijay Sharma, a former president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, who represents the Kawardha assembly constituency, were both chosen deputy chief ministers by the BJP. The Assembly Speaker will also be Dr. Raman Singh, the former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.

The appointment follows the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) announcement of victory in Chhattisgarh, where it secured 54 out of 90 seats, while the Congress, the party’s pre-election alliance, managed just 35 seats. Vishnu Deo Sai defeated Congressman U.D. Minj by a margin of 25,541 votes to win the Kunkuri Assembly seat. Sai received 87,604 votes.
