CM Yogi vows to accelerate Mathura’s progress

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, said on Thursday that the government’s focus was now on the development of Mathura and Vrindavan, after Ayodhya and Kashi.

During a public event in Mathura called “Vijay Sankalp Namankan Sabha” to promote BJP candidate Hema Malini, the chief minister gave the residents of the area assurances about the rapid development occurring in Mathura-Vrindavan.

Chief Minister Yogi questioned why Kashi, Mathura, and Ayodhya did not see more development during the 60 years that the Congress ruled. He claimed that the Braj Teerth Development Council’s agenda includes development activities in Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, and Baldev based on recommendations made by Hema Malini.

CM Yogi questioned the opposition of the SP, BSP, and Congress to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, accusing them of stifling the temple movement by brutally suppressing Ram enthusiasts. He cited instances in which people were beaten with clubs and guns only for expressing the phrase “Jai Shri Ram.”
