Couple discovered dead in East Delhi’s Madhu Vihar neighborhood

The bodies of a married couple were discovered in a home on Wednesday in the Madhu Vihar neighborhood of east Delhi, according to police.

Dinesh Tiwari (42) and his wife Neelam Tiwari (40) have been recognized as the pair.


The guy was a salesperson here for a clothing company, and his wife was a stay-at-home mother. They say they left behind two kids, who are now 17 and 12, respectively.

After the post-mortem, they noted, the precise cause of the death will be determined.

Along with the corpses, a suicide note was discovered that highlighted the couple’s financial woes. According to a senior police officer, it also included the names of a few people who were believed to have bothered them.

Chandrashekhar, the deceased Dinesh’s younger brother, reportedly told investigators that the family resided in a second-floor apartment with their two children.

The kids discovered their apartment locked from the inside when they got home from school in the afternoon. After being notified that their parents were not answering the door, Chandershekhar smashed down the door to the apartment and discovered his brother Dinesh and his wife dead in the room.

They said Chandrashekhar resided on the third story of the same structure.

The crime team was contacted, and the location’s exhibits were removed. According to the official, the remains were taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.

At the Madhu Vihar police station, a complaint was filed under sections 306 (abetting suicide) and 34 (common purpose) of the Indian Penal Code, and additional investigation is ongoing, he said.
