Death on the road for a biker

Phagwara: An anonymous individual has been charged with carelessness and mischief causing death by the Nakodar City police. On the evening of March 3, Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Gauns, Nakodar, reported to the police that his brother Chandar Mohan, 33, would be riding his motorbike home. His motorbike was struck by an unknown car close to a government school. The car accident claimed his life. A complaint has been filed under Sections 304-A, 279, 337, 338, and 427 of the IPC, according to investigating officer Harinder Pal.

Phagwara: A guy was detained by the Mehat Pur police on suspicion of selling illegally produced alcohol in the nation. The Udho Wal village resident, Sukhwinder Singh, also known as Kala, has been named as the suspect. Avtar Singh, the investigating officer, said that nine bottles of alcohol were found in his possession. The suspect was subsequently freed on bail after a complaint was filed against him under Sections 61, 1 and 14 of the Excise Act. OC

Phagwara: According to reports, a 43-year-old male and a daughter vanished. Awann Charahmi village resident Mohinder Singh reported to the police that his daughter Gurpreet Kaur had left the house on March 25 and had not returned. Rahim Pur villager Shamli reported to the police that her husband Sarabjit had not been seen since March 16. Phagwara: Two proclaimed offenders (PO) who had been evading capture for a number of years have been apprehended by the Shahkot police. The suspects, according to Station House Officer (SHO) Yadwinder Singh, are Rajwinder Singh and Rashpal Singh, who live in Shankar Da Dera, Hajate Wal, and are assigned to the Sidhama Bet police station. There is an assault case involving the accused.
