Deepender Hooda greets students outside MDU in Rohtak without giving a nod

Today, outside gate number 2 of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda, a potential Congress candidate from Rohtak, met with students and representatives of different student organizations after the MDU administration refused to allow him to hold a program at the Ambedkar Hall on campus. In this respect, the pupils asked for permission.

Speaking at the event, Deepender said that the MDU administration had abruptly canceled the permit, while an MDU spokesman insisted that students had not received authorization to hold the program on campus. He also said that the application for permission to be filed had not even indicated the Rajya Sabha MP’s attendance.

“To examine Baba Saheb’s life, his contribution to the nation, and constitutional ideals, Valmiki Chhatra Mahasabha, Eklavya Chhatra Sangathan, Ambedkar Chhatra Morcha, CYSS, and the NSUI jointly arranged this student conference. The administration had first approved this, but it was suddenly revoked, according to Deepender. He said that the BJP has once again shown their anti-Baba Saheb, anti-constitutional, and undemocratic viewpoint by rescinding the permit. This directly violates the rights that the Indian Constitution grants its inhabitants.

“By adopting this step, the administration attempted to incite unrest at the request of the BJP, but the Congress and other student organizations displayed peace and democratic decorum. Deepender remarked, “Everyone respectfully voiced their opinions in front of the media, outside the university, and bowed to Baba Saheb.”
