Dr. Manjunath vs. DK Suresh in Bangalore Rural

The Lok Sabha seat in Bangalore Rural is the one being monitored the most during this general election. The BJP broke DK Suresh’s three-time winner stranglehold by using Dr. CN Manjunath as their weapon. JDS is also in favor of it.

There was a direct confrontation between two powerful families in the state’s second-largest Lok Sabha seat, Bangalore Rural. There is a lot of interest in Dr. C. N Manjunath, the BJP-JDS alliance candidate, running against DK Suresh, a three-time MP. Thirteen members of the Congress have achieved significant wins in the previous seventeen Lok Sabha elections.

There have been three victories for JDS and one for BJP. In Bangalore’s rural Lok Sabha constituency, the Congress party has the majority of seats, followed by Bengaluru South and Kanakapura Lok Sabha districts. The brother of KPCC president DK Shivakumar is Congressman DK Suresh. However, Dr. CN Manjunath, the alliance candidate, is the son-in-law of HD Deve Gowda, the former prime minister. As a result, of the four elections between the HDD and DKS families, the HDD family won two and DKS family won the other. With the parties and the family’s reputation on the line, the fifth showdown is now underway. But breaking through DK’s fortress is very difficult.
