Elections for the Lok Sabha in 2024: According to Devendra Fadnavis, only Modi can guarantee a robust and wealthy India for a third term; the Oppn lacks coordination

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attacked the opposition on Tuesday, comparing their supposed lack of coordination to a train, and saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be elected to a third term in order to build a strong and wealthy India, according to news agency PTI.

Speaking at a polling station, the top BJP official stated that voters have just two options in this election: they may choose to support Rahul Gandhi’s coalition or PM Modi for development.

“The driving force behind our Mahayuti coalition is Modiji. There is plenty of room for passengers to join this Modi “Vikas ki train,” which includes carriages from the RPI, NCP, Shiv Sena, and other parties. According to PTI, he said, “Other alliances lack coordination and all of its members call themselves engines but they don’t have any coaches.”

For a robust and successful Bharat, he added, it is up to the people to choose the right administration and grant PM Modi a third term.

On April 19, the Bhandara-Gondiya constituency will have its first round of voting.

This seat currently has Sunil Mendhe, the incumbent MP, on the BJP’s ballot.

“Modiji is pursuing the aim of promoting the well-being of the impoverished while considering the concerns of all societal segments. He has envisioned women being empowered, and by 2026, women would have 33% of the seats in both the state legislature and the parliament. Social justice is the cornerstone of the Modi cabinet’s operations, Fadnavis said, according to PTI.

In the meantime, an official told PTI on Tuesday that the Mumbai police had filed a complaint against unnamed individuals for using the BJP’s letterhead improperly to declare a “candidate” for the Palghar Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra.

According to him, the BJP “candidate” for the nearby Palghar seat was proclaimed on the fake letterhead that was shared on the popular messaging app WhatsApp, as reported by PTI.

A local BJP official filed a complaint, and the case was opened under the applicable IPC provisions at the Marine Drive Police Station in south Mumbai.
