Garhshankar: A slain migrant worker discovered

In the forest of Garhi Mansowal village in the Beet area, which is part of the Garhshankar sub-division, a migrant laborer was discovered dead. He took blows from sharp objects and stones to the head, face, and neck.

An Aadhaar card and cell phone discovered in a kit next to the corpse helped identify the victim. He was recognized as Mau, Uttar Pradesh-based migrant laborer Ashok Kumar. The deceased’s family members were made aware of the situation.

The police were notified by Jarnail Singh Jaila of Garhi Mansowal village about the corpse found in the jungle. The cops arrived at the scene and seized the corpse after gathering information.

The accused are being sought for by the police. There are rumors that Ashok was employed in Goa. Just a few days ago, he was here. According to SHO Gurinderjit Singh Nagra, the event had been reported to the deceased’s relatives. His family members would be here before the post-mortem was completed.
