Himachal Congress head Pratibha Singh: Vote to remove the “dictatorial” government from the Center

Pratibha Singh, the head of the State Congress, exhorted the residents of the Rampur Assembly seat today to utilize their right to vote in order to overthrow the oppressive Central government.

“Modi does what he wants to do. He pays no attention to anyone. Speaking at a public gathering in the Rampur neighbourhood of Pandrah-Beesh, Pratibha Singh said, “This is our chance to remove the dictatorial government from the center.”

She remarked that the Congress regime’s prime ministers were the complete opposite, listening to the people. “I recall bringing up the need for a tunnel in Lahaul and Spiti when I visited with then-prime minister Manmohan Singh. She said, “He asked me how much money would be needed and approved the entire amount for the tunnel’s construction.”

Pratibha said that the inhabitants of Lahaul and Spiti were living much more comfortably because of the tunnel, which was made possible by Manmohan Singh’s generosity. “Today, the tunnel crossing takes just fifteen minutes. However, winter prevented the residents of Lahaul and Spiti from connecting with the rest of the nation for six months prior to the tunnel’s construction.

She urged voters to remove the BJP administration from power in the center by saying, “It’s just one instance of the several development works done by the Congress governments.” She also said that the state’s Congress administration was working on a number of development projects for the benefit of the populace.

One of the 17 Assembly seats in the Mandi Parliamentary constituency, where her son Vikramaditya Singh is running against Kangana Ranaut of the BJP, is the Rampur Assembly constituency. Since Vikramaditya hails from the Rampur Assembly constituency, the Congress will do all in its power to reverse whatever advantage Kangana would have from the Mandi seats, particularly Seraj and Sarkaghat.

Over the following five to six days, the Congress president is slated to address many public meetings in different panchayats within the region, cognizant of the fact that the Congress candidate would need the maximum number of votes from the home constituency.
