In Kurukshetra, a man overdoses on drugs and dies; a buddy is arrested
A guy was taken into custody by the Kurukshetra police’s CIA-1 squad on suspicion of culpable murder after the overdose death of his acquaintance.
The dead, Suraj, was identified as a native of Sunderpur village, while the suspect, Shubham (26), is a Thanesar inhabitant. In his police complaint, Suraj’s brother Surinder Singh said that on April 15, Suraj had informed them he was seeing Shubham when he left the home at approximately seven in the morning. His corpse was later discovered in a market.
A corpse wrapped in a rug was found at the Sector 17 market on April 15, according to a police spokeswoman. A murder case was filed when the corpse was moved to the LNJP Hospital. After the case was turned over to the CIA-1 team, it was discovered that Suraj had overdosed to death and that he had been using narcotics with his buddy Shubham. Section 302 of the IPC was deleted, and Sections 304 and 201 were created in response to the post-mortem report.
