Inconsequential Dhinakaran, DMK-AIADMK fight: Thanga Tamilselvan

AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran is unimportant in the Tamil Nadu race; the DMK’s Theni candidate, Thanga Tamilselvan, said as much at a media briefing on Saturday. The DMK and the AIADMK are the only parties in contention.

Tamilselvan said that Dhinakaran is just using social media and news outlets to fabricate an appearance of support in the area, noting that Dhinakaran sided with the BJP in spite of his repeated statements against it.

Tamilselvan responded to a query on O Panneerselvam by stating that the former chief minister had made a number of remarks disparaging Dhinakaran and Sasikala, even going so far as to accuse them of being accountable for J Jayalalithaa’s demise. However, OPS partnered with Dhinakaran, revealing their real nature. Despite being the sitting MP for Periyakulam, Dhinakaran was defeated in 2004,” he stated.

People would back the DMK in the election since it has launched a number of social programs for them, according to Tamilselvan.

He also looked over the location where MK Stalin, the chief minister, was scheduled to speak at public gatherings.
