INTERVIEW | Telangana Chief Minister: “Modi’s BJP won’t get more than 220 seats”

“I don’t see Narendra Modi’s BJP getting more than 220 seats,” Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said, characterizing this Lok Sabha election as a vote either in favor of or against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In an effort to support Congress candidates, Reddy is here to energize the approximately 28 lakh Telugu speakers in Bengaluru and 40 lakh speakers across Karnataka. He said that voters give candidates little more than two chances. The voters gave past prime ministers Manmohan Singh and Atal Behari Vajpayee two opportunities, and they also granted PM Modi two terms.

Reddy attacked the BJP administration for treating South India unfairly, claiming that Gujarat receives the greatest investments while other states are stuck with whatever is left over after trickles down. According to his claims, corporations who get direct investments from states in the South are called by the PMO and are either pressured or persuaded to relocate their assets to Gujarat.

“When people are hungry, they speak about food, jobs, and survival; when their tummies are full, they chat about places of worship and other things. This is the global tendency, according to Revanth Reddy.

He said, “The RSS formula is direct election,” when asked about direct elections. They seek to act against the minorities and acquire support from the majority group, transforming it into a community that is 20% minority and 80% majority. They engage in Aryan versus. Dravidian and North vs. South games.

He said that the Congress has consistently preserved regional equilibrium and provided a plan for North and South to grow equally. The Congress has an unwritten code. A person from the South held the office of President and was assigned several significant responsibilities if the Prime Minister was from the North. current isn’t the case with current administration, however; the BJP fired ministers like Venkaiah Naidu and Sadananda Gowda and refused to offer a Southern politician the position of party president. The South is not part of the BJP’s agenda, he said.

The loan component was Rs 55 lakh crore when Modi became prime minister; however, in ten years, it has grown by Rs 113 lakh crore, to Rs 168 lakh crore. The Modi government has privatized the riches that other administrations had produced for the country. Reddy said, “The statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the only noteworthy monument constructed by this PM.”

Additionally, he discussed the mutually advantageous “jugalbandi” between AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi and the BJP, as well as how they strategically make choices that either directly or indirectly benefit each other.
