Karnataka: Nadda wants the CBI to look into the death of Neha Hiremath

When visiting Congress corporator Niranjan Hiremath’s home in Hubballi, BJP national president JP Nadda made a demand: a CBI investigation into the death of Hiremath’s daughter Neha. On April 18, Neha Hiremath, 24, was fatally stabbed on her college campus. Fayaz, who is presently being held by police, is suspected of being the perpetrator.

Pralhad Joshi, a union minister, accompanied Nadda. Both politicians were very critical of the Karnataka Congress administration. Nadda insisted that the State administration prosecute the murder suspect to the fullest extent possible, but Joshi countered that the Congress administration will stop at nothing to win votes and that it now stands in solidarity with those who advocate love jihad.

Nadda said that tragedies such as the murder of Neha must never happen again. “Killing her is a human rights violation.” It’s a heartbreaking story. I’ve had conversations with the parents and other relatives. The nation stands with Neha’s family, and the BJP has denounced the assault. We will all strive for fairness. Nadda said, “I am requesting that the State government turn over the investigation to the CBI.

Nadda also brought up the possibility that the probe may be influenced or weakened by the remarks made by Dr. G Parameshwara, the home minister, and Siddaramaiah, the chief minister of Karnataka. “Making remarks while an inquiry is going on is improper. The people of the state would not forgive the State Government’s appeasement tactics, he said.

Neha Hiremath’s family members were visited by Dr. Nagalakshmi Choudhary, the chairperson of the Karnataka State Women Commission.

Ismail Tamatgar, the president of Anjumane Islam Dharwad, announced a bandh for the commercial buildings inside the Anjuman complex to show sympathy for Neha Hiremath, who was recently killed in Hubballi, and her quest for justice. He said that the group chose to honor Neha with the naming of a block at their institution.

Police praised for apprehending the accused

The Vidyanagar police station squad, who captured Fayaz within an hour of the event, was honored by the Hubballi-Dharwad police. The police squad received a ‘Cop of the Month’ badge and a monetary reward of Rs 25,000 from Hubballi-Dhrwad Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar.

Held for opening an account in Neha’s name, Fayaz

Shaikh, 28, a gym trainer, was taken into custody by the Dharwad police after he shared pictures of Neha and Fayaz on a recently established social networking site. A number of more pages were discovered under the names Fayaz and Neha in addition to this one. These accounts were made a day after Neha was brutally murdered, and the Hubballi-Dharwad police are looking into and monitoring them.

DKS comforts the Hiremath clan

Bengaluru: Neha Hiremath’s father, Niranjan Hiremath, was contacted by DCM D K Shivakumar. Neha was brutally killed in Hubballi last Thursday. “This event has shaken us as well. We are sorry for your loss and that of your family. The government is on your side. He promised the family that the accused would face rigorous legal action and that “the guilty will be punished.” “I am aware of the suffering you have gone through since losing your daughter. May God provide the fortitude to endure the suffering for you and your loved ones. While on the campaign trail in Anekal on Sunday afternoon for his brother DK Suresh, the candidate running for the Bengaluru Rural seat, he made a call to Hiremath, a Congress councillor. Shivakumar informed the family that he was occupied with the prearranged election campaign and would make a personal visit after the results.
