Large-scale landslide in Dibang, Arunachal Pradesh, near the China border; road access is shut off

ITANAGAR: In the Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, which borders China, a large landslide has cut off road access. Between the villages of Hunli and Anini, on National Highway-33, the event took place.

Authorities blamed the recent spate of intense rains that the region has seen for the landslides.
