LS polls: Today, BJP chairman Nadda will visit Assam, while HM Amit Shah will campaign in Gujarat

On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Gujarat to campaign for the BJP. In the state, he has three roadshows and one public meeting planned.

The Home Minister will conduct roadshows in Gandhinagar’s Kalol at 10:15 a.m. and Ahmedabad’s Sanand and Vejalpur at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively. Around 8:00 p.m., he will also speak at a public gathering in Vejalpur.

The BJP is fielding Home Minister Shah to represent Gandhinagar in the Lok Sabha.

Significant political events that will transpire nationwide today:

* On Thursday, BJP President J.P. Nadda will campaign in Assam. He is scheduled to speak at public gatherings in Udalguri at 1:45 p.m., Kokrajhar at 11:50 a.m., and Dudhnoi at 3:40 p.m.

* Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, will speak on Thursday at three open forums in Kerala. Public meetings are scheduled for Kannur at noon, Palakkad at 1:45 pm, and Kottayam at 3:30 pm.

* On Thursday, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, will speak at electoral rallies in Bulandshahr at 1:45 p.m., Meerut at 3:05 p.m., and Ghaziabad at 4:35 p.m.

* On Thursday, Pune will host rallies and the filing of nominations by Sunetra Pawar of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP and Supriya Sule of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP). Mahayuti and MVA top leaders would be present at the rallies. On May 7, Baramati will cast its ballot.

* On Thursday, Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the PDP, and Main Altaf, a prominent leader of the National Conference (NC), will submit their nominations for the J&K Lok Sabha constituency of Anantnag-Rajouri.

* On Thursday at 9.30 a.m., Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini will host a “Vijay Sankalp” rally in Faridabad.

* On Thursday, RLD head Jayant Chaudhary will conduct a “Shakti Rath Yatra” public outreach event in many locations in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.

* On Thursday, Om Birla, a BJP politician and speaker of the Lok Sabha, will conduct a public outreach program in the assembly seat of Keshoraipatan, Rajasthan.

* On Thursday, Congress leader Jignesh Mevani will advocate for party candidates in Rajasthan’s Churu, Sikar, and Barmer Lok Sabha seats.
