Man Arrested in South Delhi for Sexually Abusing His Nephew

In Kotla Mubarak Pur in south Delhi, a 44-year-old man was detained on Saturday after being accused of torturing his 17-year-old nephew sexually, according to police.

The accused’s wife called the police with information about the event through PCR, they continued.

According to a senior police official, when a police squad arrived at the scene, the Sewa Nagar slum dweller who had made the call brought her husband in front of them and accused him of having sodomized her sister’s kid.

According to the police, the victim was transported to AIIMS hospital for a physical assessment.

According to him, a complaint has been filed against the accused under POCSO Act, Sections 506 (penalty for criminal intimidation), and Sections 377 (unnatural offenses) of the Indian Penal Code.

The officer said, “The suspect has been arrested, and additional investigation is in progress.”
