On March 18, 2022, Rahul and I met Sukhpreet Singh at his office in Delhi. Urvashi said, “Sukhpreet told me he would send me to Canada on a work visa and that I would have to pay him Rs 20 lakh for the work.”

She added that she had given him installments totaling Rs 15.5 lakh. “I received various paperwork from Sukhpreet, including a biometric attendance appointment letter and a ticket. But I wanted my money back as soon as I saw these papers weren’t real. She responded, “He didn’t give my money back. She said that he threatened to murder her when she asked for her money back.
