Motkupalli is planning a protest over the Congress’s decision to “ignore Madigas.”

Motkupalli Narasimhulu, the head of the Congress, said that he will oppose the grand old party’s decision to “ignore the Madiga community” on Thursday.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, the former MLA said that Manda Krishna Madiga, the leader of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), was correct in his criticism of the Congress for not fielding even a single candidate from the Madiga community for any of the state’s 17 Lok Sabha seats.

Narasimhulu said that the Congress was treating Madigas as “untouchables” and that the party only assigns them to low-level positions despite continuously bringing up the issue.

He restated that his goal was to protect the community’s right to justice rather than harm the standing of the grand old party.

“Congress has awarded two tickets to candidates from the same family. He questioned, “What sin did the Madigas commit that they have no representation?” and threatened to oppose the Congress if it didn’t address the “injustice” meted out to Madigas.
