Nadda Claims Siddaramaiah is ‘influencing and diluting’ the investigation into the murder of Neha Hiremath

New Delhi: In a shocking development in the terrible murder case of Neha Hiremath, the accused’s mother, Fayaz, has come forth to deny the accusations of “love jihad,” claiming that her son and Neha were really in love.

The 23-year-old daughter of Congress Councillor Niranjan Hiremath, Neha Hiremath, was fatally stabbed on the BVB College campus in Hubballi on April 18.

In response to media allegations, Mumtaz, Fayaz’s mother, said that her son had been confined to his house for the previous ninety-five days due to despair. She denied Niranjan Hiremath’s charges of “love jihad” and disclosed that Fayaz and Neha were in a voluntary relationship.

Mumtaz refuted rumors by revealing that Neha was the one who started the connection. Neha even went so far as to provide Fayaz his contact details after the latter won a bodybuilding competition at the university. She did acknowledge that she had known about their connection for a year, but she had urged Fayaz to put his professional goals first.

Mumtaz angrily denounced his behavior and requested that he be punished severely in line with the law. Tears welling up in her eyes, she apologized profusely to the people of Karnataka as well as to Neha’s bereaved family, condemning her son’s horrible deed.

CM of Karnataka refutes allegations of “love jihad.”
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, however, refuted the BJP’s allegations of “love jihad” and emphasized that Neha’s murder had no political motivation. He denounced the BJP’s efforts to politicize the incident and reassured the public that a thorough inquiry would be conducted. He also pledged to bring the offender to justice.

BJP politicians, on the other hand, continued to refer to the occurrence as an instance of “love jihad,” accusing the Congress party of incompetence and playing the appeasement card. These figures included Tejasvi Surya and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. They demanded a thorough probe into the problem and attacked the state administration for supposedly ignoring it.

Nadda charges Siddaramaiah with ‘diluting’ the case.
On Sunday, BJP National President J P Nadda accused state Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of “influencing and diluting” the probe into MCA student Neha Hiremath’s death, which shocked the twin cities of Hubballi and Dharwad four days earlier.

On April 18, Neha, the daughter of Congress Councillor Niranjan Hiremath of the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, was fatally stabbed on the BVB College campus by her former classmate Fayaz Khondunaik.

Siddaramaiah said that the murder was motivated by personal motives in response to communal accusations, while Parameshwara refuted the BJP’s “love jihad” theory.

Examine what Parameshwara and Siddaramaiah have to say. Call it an accident or just a typical episode, according to some. Your goal is to sway and weaken the inquiry. Speaking at a public forum in Hubballi, Nadda said that because of your appeasement policies, you lack the guts to call a spade a spade.

Nagalakshmi Choudhary, chair of the State Women’s Commission, visits with family
In the meantime, Nagalakshmi Choudhary, the chairperson of the Karnataka State Women’s Commission, paid a visit to Neha Hiremath’s family in the Hubballi area on Sunday. She met the victim’s mother and father, Niranjan Hiremath, and promised them all the assistance available.

Speaking to the media after the family meeting, Nagalakshmi Choudhary said, “Some confidential information can’t be disclosed with the media.” However, a fast-track court must examine this matter. I had conversed with the Minister of Higher Education as well as the District Collector. Such things shouldn’t happen again.
