Of the eight people died in a car accident in Nainital, seven were from Nepal

In the Nainital area of Uttarakhand on Tuesday, eight people—seven of them were citizens of Nepal—died after their car plunged into a 150-foot-deep chasm, according to authorities.

They added that two citizens of Nepal were hurt in the collision that happened close to Betalghat.

A team from the State Disaster Response Team (SDRF) hurried to the scene as soon as they learned about the tragedy.

Eight corpses were recovered by the SDRF team working with the villagers and police officers. Police stated the victims were taken to the hospital immediately.

Nine Nepalese people, all Mahendranagar residents, were in the automobile. At the time of the collision, they were on their way home.

According to them, the driver, Rajendra Kumar, who perished along with the others, lived in Betalghat.
