On Batala Road, the Municipal Corporation organizes a cleanliness effort
Several departments of the municipal corporation started a cleanliness campaign on the Batala Road today. During the trip, some public issues were resolved. Participating in the effort were representatives and staff from the horticulture, streetlight, sanitation, operation and maintenance, and civic wings.
Employees of MC started a cleaning drive under the “Mera Shehar Mera Maan” program, starting on the Batala road and going from the Government Dental College to Celebration Mall. The Verka-Vallah road’s bypass chowk marked the conclusion of the drive.
Ditch machines, vehicles, and tractor-trailers helped clear the area on both sides of Batala Road of trash, building materials, and debris. Dr. Kiran Kumar, the health officer, said that the push would go on in the next few days.
